Karnthya is the name of the only country known. The seas may tell tales of other islands, but they are far to dangerous to cross to seek other places to call home. Within Karnthya there are several territories that people have claimed as a home.
Rael~ Vast forests ravish this territory to the point if a fire were to happen in a drought, it would burn everything in Rael. Many of the villages take homes in the trees to avoid the creatures on the ground.
Xezin~ Lavishing prairies cover Xezn from coast to coast. Monsters roam freely here, not even the wonderful beauty of Xezn would stop the creatures of Hell from coming in. Patrols can be spotted on almost every major trail, protecting travelers of all kinds, innocent or not.
Iville~ Made purely by the Al Bhed, Iville holds mechanical wonders throughout each of the cities. Because of this, Iville is protected from the monsters that would normally roam freely and kill those they wished. Iville is the safest place in all Karnthya!
Londinum~ Londinum is perhaps the only other place besides Iville that has plenty of technology within it. Holding mostly desert however, Londinum's cities tend to be underground to avoid the heat while others merely have lots of shade.
The Garden[/u]~ This is said to be the place of gods and though everyone knows where it is, no one that went to it has come back. Magic seems to protect the place with ravaging storms that no man can sail, so perhaps it is best left alone?

Karnthya is home to many races, many different life styles, and many people who have their own beliefs. Because of this, those that are different tend to be hated just for the reason of being different. Life in Karnthya is like life anywhere else, you have the rich and the poor and those that barely get by. Technology is almost minimal in many areas, but the Al Bhed are helping advance civilazations. A few guns are sold by the Al Bhed, yet their are exspensive and the ammo costs just as much. Transportation consists mostly of animals, boats, and sometime vehicles made by the Al Bhed. However, these vehicles are mostly in Londinum, helping people cross the desert easier. Every other place has very little of these machines, yet they can still be found if you are obsessively rich. Slaves are sold almost everywhere, but Londinum is famous for markets set completely aside for selling and buying slaves.
