Jango walked out of the house that he had been sleeping in while he recovered. He had gathered his things and had noticed that the sky was full of clouds. It had been a week since he had injured his arm and it was still injured, but not nearly as much as before. Jango noticed that many people where out and even without the help of the sun he could tell, just by how many people outside there where, that it was high noon. He yawned and checked his belt. He still had his wooden sword, his real sword, and his pouch with his money in it. He yawned again and started to walk around town.

He noticed nothing out of the ordinary, except that the wall that the Armadillo had broken was still under construction. He sighed. He hoped to god that he didn't run into Raziel again. At least not yet. He had to get stronger before seeing Raziel again, for if he ran into the man again, he might not be as lucky as last time.

Karen was walking around town, getting looks once in a while. It annoyed her somewhat but she couldn't really blame them. She wore nothing but an old faded and worn dress and was obviously poor. A lady came up to her, "are you lost little girl?"
karen only sighed, where usually she'd get all worked up..it was one of those times where all she wanted to do was sit and laze around all day and wallow in boredeomness...even if she really really hated being bored. "Listen lady..I know i'm cute..but I'm not a little girl"

she had to explain things to the human woman and then forgive her of her ignorance. Soon she was walking again..even deeper into a crowd. Eventually she found a guy who looked injured and he had his money pouch in the open. She mentally sighed. this guy is just asking to be mugged...alright" she walked up and casually passed the man as alot of people would have..this being the busy time. She swiftly, and with out mistake, went to snatch up his money pouch and if she succeeded and was past, sped up just a little bit and attempted to disappear in the crowd.

Jango thought he felt the wind kick up, but then it died down. "That was o-" His hand fell down to his belt. "Waa! Where did my money go!?" He exclaimed, he scanned the area and saw a girl going quicker then other people where, Her! Jango took chase after the girl.

She was fast, and with Jango's injured arm, he wasn't as fast as her. So instead he cut through an ally way and ran out, right in front of her. "Got you!" he said to her. His arm fell limply to his side.

Karen could tell that he was giving chase but somewhere she'd lost the sound of his pursuing ,but still she went. That is, until he jumped out in front of her. Startled and not wanting to get hurt, she jumped back a few feet and smirked up at him, "yea..so ya got me.."

Since she was several feet away from him, about her range when it comes to getting into fights, she opened the pouch and only took a little bit of his money, enough to keep her going for a while. She was prepared for an attack too,since she was a nymph with plant magic. She tossed the pouch and the rest of the money back at him, it landed in the dirt at his feet. "Guess you get some of your money back. For catching me, and because you're injured"

Jango picked up his money and placed it in a different spot, out of sight. "Don't take pity on me because I was hurt, I don't need to be uninjured to figure out where you were going. That takes intellect," he said as he tapped his head, "But I am sure a little girl who could steal from a kid and only leave the wind as there evidence would know that." He said to her. He wasn't one of those people who thought that boys where Superior to girls. He said it as a complement, though he didn't know that she was a nymph. He yawned, "So, who are you?" He asked the girl who had just tried to steal his money. Only someone like him would try and befriend someone who had just stolen from him.

karen nodded, she understood, and she didn't take pity on him because he was injured. It was because she thought he might need to pay a doctor. It wasn't an unreasonable thought. She watched him though. After all, she had just stolen from him. She smiled though, because she caught the compliment to her skill. "I'm Karen. And I am NOT a little girl, thank you very much." Even though she had calmly, though with strained patience, explained to the lady about everything, she wasn't in the mood for it now. She had had action, a little adreneline to wake her up. She was back to herself...and she absolutely hated being called a little kid.

Jango laughed a little, "I guess 'little' is a little demeaning. seeing as we are about the same hight as each other." he said with a small laugh. "Well, hello Karen, I am Jango." He said with a small bow. "Well, that was fun. You let me get active and run around for a while seeing as I have been sleeping and cooped up for the past week since that Drow stabbed me with a dagger laced with poison." HE said and the moment he had mentioned the Drow his voice had become full of hate and resent meant. "That drow showed me the most disrespect you could show in a duel. He fought dirty. No, he could have easily killed me or knocked me out with his back hand, but instead he poisoned me. Disrespectful for a man to show during a duel!" He said aloud, even though it was meant for himself. "So, why do you steal? You have any family or anyone to stay with?" He asked the girl.

Karen listened quietly as he talked to himself about a guy fighting dirty and poisoning him. She really thought he should just be thankful he's alive. Then again, hearing him rant like that, she wasn't liking the guy much herself. Even she didn't poison somebody. Finally he started talking to her again, and she was glad about it. She just grinned and rose an eyebrow, "it's degrading for a 26 year old to still be living with their parents, no matter the race. Despite that, I wouldn't go live with them and they wouldn't have me ever since I vowed not to go into the family business" at this she laughed just a little bit. Then she waited for his reaction. He had just thought she was a little girl. Now she just told him that she was 26.

"Oh? Your 26 years old? So, why are you so smaller than normal people. Unless!" He pulled out a small book. It didn't have symbols on it, but it had writings of different specious in it. "Unless you are a nymph. Is that right?" He asked her as he closed the book. It had everything from Humans to Orks and everything in between in it. "Well, its nice to meet you, but why do you steal if your 26? Can't you find a job?" He asked her curiously.

Karen smiled, "Oh yes. I am a nymph. Pleasure to meet you." with this she bowed. "Though I tell you boy, there are more creatures of short stature out there then just nymphs. As to why I steal well...it's not that I can't get a job, though with me having been a theif I don't know how well that'll go. I don't know what I want to do for the rest of my life, as a real job. I absolutely refuse to go into the flower shop business and I don't know many other job skills. Except stealing and sewing..but I don't want to stoop over and work with a needle all the time. At least thievery allows you to travel and offers excitement. "

Jango listened while Karen explained to him what she was and why she stole. "Uh-hu. So in other words you don't want to kill plants and have absolutly no skill at anything at all right?" He asked her bluntly. "Hm, well I wonder what that god wanted me to do." He said, then he spoke in a mocking voice, "Gather your allies, you are of great destiny." He sighed, "Why was that man saying these?" He turned to Karen. "Are you good with a knife or sword?" He asked her.

Why'd he have to go and do that? he put all her carefully chosen words into a single very blunt sentence, and it sounded pathetic. "yea...that's about it." Then with a small sigh she listened and stood patiently as he began talking to himself again, and when he finally turned to her again, she was really glad. A sparkle appeared in her eye, she gained a confident smug little smirk and crossed her arms. "Am I? You said yourself that I can steal with leaving nothing but the wind as a trace when stealing. I could have killed you with a stick if I had the heart for it. Why? What purpose do you have with someone with skills with blades?" She unfolded her arms and they hung at her side as she looked into his eyes with curiosity.

Jango looked at her with the same amount of curiosity, "Well, why not come with me while I travel the lands in search for what that man spoke of." He grinned, "I am sure that your skill would be useful. Though thieving is dishonest, we could probably work something out." He said to her with a grin. 'She could have easily killed me with a stick, yes, its to be expected since she is a Nymph and is able to bend plants to her will.' He turned and looked at the sky, "So, how 'bout it?" He asked her again.

Karen had to think. She didn't have to think about putting thieving skills to better use, she already agreed to that part. It was that she should give up her independence and travel with a boy that she knew next to nothing about in search of her god only knows what. That's what she had to think about. That's what was the most difficult part of it. Finally she had to make up her mind, "alright..but what did he say you were to look for?"
This boy had to have some idea of what he was looking for,and she didn't quite get it from his chat with himself. Even though this would bring her more adventure then perhaps being on her own and she'd get to hang out with people, and use her skills for something other then stealing from people who might need that money.

"Well, I think he says that I am to help protect Karnthya from the lands of the south. I think that there is an army coming from the south and that he wants me to gather my allies, or something, and do what I can to stop them. I am not all to sure myself." He said to Karen honestly, "Well, I don't like being a leader, and I don't like ordering people around." HE said with a small laugh. "So, I don't really know what this person wants of me, but I can tell its of great inportance. " HE said to Karen. He wondered what he was supposed to do.
